5 Under 25: Young Alumni Success Stories
Young alumni revisit campus to share their stories of success with current students.

Trivia/Game Night
During the academic year, SAA hosts an event for both our members and local alumni to enjoy a night of trivia, prizes, food, and fun.

Alumni Fan Fests
Before selected home athletic events, SAA participates in pregame gatherings where members get the opportunity to network with NU alumni and their families.

Family Day at Fenway
Each year SAA works with the Office of Alumni Relations to bring fun games, tours, and family fun to Northeastern alumni at Fenway Park.

Community Service

Husky Hugs
A teddy bear drive which gives local children a “hug” during the holiday season.

Bringing Cheer
During the holiday season SAA hosts a holiday party at the Cambridge YWCA for children and their parents.

University Wide Events

Connecting Huskies to Huskies Networking Night
The SAA Networking Night is a great opportunity to engage with fellow students and alumni from across the University. Build new connections, reconnect with classmates, and share your experiences with students.

Homecoming
During this week of Husky pride, SAA participates in all Homecoming contests and sponsors the “Mayor of Huntington Avenue” (MOHA) competition, as well as co-sponsors the Homecoming Comedian.

Mayor of Huntington Avenue
A classic Northeastern Homecoming tradition that works to find the next “Big Dog on Campus”.

Internal Programs

Buddy Program
In an effort to better assimilate the new SAA members into the group, each member is paired with a returning member – their “buddy”. The pair(s) can explore Boston, explore Northeastern and compete for the coveted “Buddiest of Buddies” award that’s distributed at the end of each semester.

Retreat
After new members have been accepted into SAA, the entire group embarks for a weekend of team building at the Warren Conference Center.

Final Dinner
At the end of each semester SAA gathers over dinner to induct our new members, say good-bye to our graduates, and celebrate our accomplishments.
