One of this week’s featured seniors is… Alf Carroll!
Alf joined SAA at the beginning of his sophomore year and knew he’d found the right organization for him at Northeastern. During that first year, Alf was invited to attend D1 Conference at the University of Massachusetts and realized he wanted to take on more responsibility. He then served on the executive board as the V.P. of Finance for two consecutive years. He also attended D1 Conference at the University of Connecticut and the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, Alf has been a part of the spirit committee and the social committee.
We will miss Alf’s welcoming energy, frequent laughter, and fantastic dance moves. Thank you for being such a valued member over the last four years!

What is something that not everyone in SAA knows about you?
I am the fourth Alf in my family.
Who would play you in a movie?
Museum of Science or New England Aquarium?
Museum of Science. I’m such a science nerd.
Describe your perfect day in Boston.
A nice spring day where the temperature is in the high 60s, no humidity, and going on a long walk down to the waterfront.
How has SAA contributed to your Northeastern experience?
SAA has made me realize the importance of networking in finding a job. Not to mention that I made most of my best friends through SAA.
How do you hope to give back to the Northeastern community as an alumnus?
I plan on attending alumni events and giving annual financial gifts. As an aspiring Physician Assistant, I would love to precept students or have them shadow me once I am in the field.
